BIOGRAPHY

Chloë Wouters obtained her Master’s degree in Law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2021. During her master’s studies, she combined the specialisations in tax law and economic law.

She has a particular interest in real estate law in a broad sense, which led her to become acquainted with the Ockier law firm during her final master’s year, where she gained practical experience as a student. After obtaining her degree, Chloë became a lawyer at the West Flanders Bar in 2021 and started her traineeship at the same firm. In 2024, Ockier & Partners merged with Moore Law.

Within the firm, Chloë focuses primarily on legal advice and dispute resolution in real estate-related contract and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on real estate transactions, project development, and property rights.

During her traineeship, Chloë completed various training programs, including "Legal Aspects of Real Estate" (Introduction to Spatial Planning and Environment) and "Corporate Real Estate Transactions" at the Post-University Centre affiliated with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Additionally, from 2020 to 2024, Chloë was active as a lecturer at Syntra West in the real estate program, where she taught the fundamentals of real estate law, particularly contract law.

Since 2023, Chloë has been a member of the Young Bar Association of Kortrijk, where she is committed to organising various formal and informal activities for the former judicial district of Kortrijk, including continuing legal education programs.
