Miguel Van de Vaerd obtained his Master of Laws at the University of Ghent (2020). Subsequently he immersed himself at the same university in notary law (2022) and in taxation at the KU Leuven (2022).
Fascinated by the constant interaction between civil and tax law, he chose estate planning as his main occupation.
After an initial experience as a consultant, he joined Moore Law in June 2023 as he switched to the bar. In addition to advisory work on estate planning, he enjoys contributing to the sound substantiation of a procedural file, such as representing the interests of the taxpayer vis-à-vis the Flemish tax authorities, or the liquidation and distribution of an estate.
