BIOGRAPHY
Ludo obtained his law degree (Licentiate in Law) from KU Leuven in 1985.
After working for a year in project development, he made the transition to the bar.
In 1988, Ludo started his own law firm. The law firm Ockier & Partners grew from a one-man office to a firm with around thirty employees. In 2024, Ludo made the decision to integrate with Moore Law.
From the beginning, Ludo developed a fascination with construction and real estate law. He sought to bring together all branches of law within the firm to address real estate law as comprehensively as possible. He strives to offer pragmatic solutions for clients based on solid legal knowledge.
Ludo taught at Syntra West from 1987 to 2017 in real estate training programs (real estate agency, project developer, real estate agent-syndic). Additionally, he advises the Confederation of Real Estate Professions of Belgium, where he regularly gives lectures.
Ludo is often invited as a guest speaker at seminars and study days organised by players in the real estate sector.
In 2021, he published the second edition of his book “Construction Law in a Nutshell.”
