BIOGRAPHY

Lien studied law at KU Leuven (2009 – high distinction) and was a member of wetswinkel for three years during her studies, providing advice on residential lease law. In 2009, she started her career as a lawyer at Liedekerke, Wolters, Waelbroeck, Kirkpatrick at the Brussels Bar. In May 2012, she joined Paqt Advocaten in Genk, which became part of Moore Law in September 2024.

She is part of the Commercial Law expertise centre as well as the Insolvency Law expertise centre.

Lien is recognised as a collaborative negotiator, a form of alternative dispute resolution. Whenever possible, she aims to achieve a mutually agreed and negotiated settlement between parties. She also conducts court proceedings. Another significant part of her work involves providing legal advice and drafting contracts (such as independent collaboration agreements, distribution contracts, and general terms and conditions).
