BIOGRAPHY

Leen is part of the Corporate & M&A expertise centre. She holds a law degree and obtained an additional specialisation in economic law (DES en droit économique, UCL - 2007) as well as a Manama in corporate law (HUB - 2010).

Leen started her professional career in September 2007 at the predecessor of Paqt Advocaten. She became a partner lawyer in 2015 and a managing partner in 2017, leading the corporate law team ever since. In 2024, she became a partner at Moore Law.

She primarily focuses on advising and assisting businesses, their directors, and shareholders.

As a lawyer, Leen always strives to prioritise her clients' interests and specific needs while communicating in clear and accessible language.

Leen is highly engaged in the legal and professional community. She served for four years as a board member of the Young Bar Association of Tongeren, including two years (September 2011 - August 2013) as president. Since September 2013, she has been a member of the Bar Council, first at the Tongeren Bar and, since September 1, 2016, at the Limburg Bar. She is, among other roles, a disciplinary investigator and a member of the social committee.

Additionally, she is a board member of several associations, including the Vereniging Industriëlen Genk (VIG).

Leen has also been a contributing author to BV(BA)/NV in de Praktijk (Wolters Kluwer) since 2009.
