Klaas Koentges

Klaas graduated with distinction as a licentiate and master of laws from the University of Antwerp in 2007. He began his career at Essenzia in Antwerp. In March 2018, Klaas became a partner at Essenzia Advocaten, or Humans in Law, which integrated into Moore Law in 2025.

Klaas supports businesses with national and international commercial contracts in all domains, including drafting, reviewing, and monitoring their execution. He has extensive experience in corporate law and assists companies, shareholders, and directors in matters such as asset transfers, share transfer processes, shareholder conflicts and disputes, director liability, mergers and acquisitions, etc.

In real estate and construction law, Klaas assists clients such as builders, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and developers with contract drafting, negotiations, mediation in disputes, and conducting procedures at every stage of a construction project.

Finally, Klaas is also active in insolvency law and has been included on the list of trustees at the Commercial Court of Antwerp and the Commercial Court of Ghent.
