BIOGRAPHY
Justine obtained her Master of Laws degree from Ghent University in 2016.
In 2017, she completed an additional Master of Corporate Law at KU Leuven, Brussels Campus.
She joined our office in 2018, where she mainly focuses on dispute resolution in corporate and business law matters (e.g., shareholder conflicts, directors’ liability, (commercial) disputes between companies, post-closing disputes, seizure procedures, and damage claims).
In 2022, Justine became a certified mediator in civil and commercial matters. The techniques she acquired during this training are used both in her role as a certified mediator—assisting parties as an independent and neutral third party in finding a solution to their dispute—and in the cases she handles for her own clients. Justine believes that, in some situations, reaching a solution between parties is preferable to going to court.
Justine handles cases in Dutch, French, and English.
