BIOGRAPHY
Geert studied law at KU Leuven and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Law from U.I. Antwerp. He began his professional career in 1991 at the Limburg Bar and founded in 1999 the firm that played a key role in the establishment of Paqt Advocaten. In 2024, he became Partner at Moore Law.
He is a mediator in civil and commercial disputes.
Since 1995, he has been regularly appointed as curator, provisional administrator, liquidator, and court-appointed representative in judicial reorganisations.
Geert enthusiastically leads the teams of the insolvency expertise centre and the commercial law expertise centre.
Geert believes in collaboration and the strength of a strong team. Working together means cooperating with clients, colleagues, and all stakeholders involved in a case.
