BIOGRAPHY
Dirk began his career as a (tax) lawyer in 2001 as a lecturer at the former EHSAL. He worked there full-time until 2010 and continued as a guest lecturer until 2017. Since 2010, he has been practising as a full-time lawyer, and since early 2018, he has been part of the expert centre Private Client Services at Moore Law.
Dirk has a talent for identifying legal issues from clients’ stories, crafting appropriate solutions together with his team, and translating them back to the client in plain, understandable language. Clarity and openness are central to his warm and approachable communication style.
In disputes, he leverages every argument to defend his client’s interests to the fullest. Dirk still regularly pleads cases himself before Belgian courts and tribunals.
He is also frequently invited as a speaker at seminars and study days.
