BIOGRAPHY
Marie Verhelst obtained her master's degree in law in 2015, and continued her studies in 2016 with a master-after-master in tax law, both at KU Leuven. She further supplemented her education with a postgraduate degree in estate and succession planning at the Business School in Bruges in 2018.
She has been affiliated with the West Flanders Bar since September 2016.
Marie advises entrepreneurs and private individuals on the various aspects of direct taxation (personal and corporate tax) and indirect taxation (registration tax and VAT), and has a special interest in the corporate law aspects of transactions involving shareholder restructuring and capital distributions.
